Our Pastors
Rev. George Hufnagel, originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, came to us in August 1987. He lives in Secretary with his wife Babs. His three children (Stacey, Bob and David) are all grown. Pastor George served six years in the Army after earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physics from Westminister College in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania. During his military service, he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior; then called to ministry, he attended Western Conservative Baptist Seminary in Portland, Oregon, where he earned a Masters of Divinity Degree. He previously pastored churches in Cranbrook, British Columbia and Sparta, New Jersey.
Pastor Keith Helsel, came to us in August 2006 with his wife Cara along with their daughters, Aleigha and Ava. Keith and Cara were both born and raised in the hills of western Pennsylvania and attended Nyack College together. Pastor Keith committed his life to Christ at the age of 12. He sensed God's desire to use his voice at a young age, but he did not realize his call for vocational youth ministry until his last semester at Penn College where he received an Associate Degree and Surveying Technology. After a year of assisting in the youth program at a local church, he enrolled at Nyack College where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Youth Ministry.
